Print Logger creates in SQL server set of tables user account. Print Logger uses common tables and viewsprefixed tables and views.

Common tables and views: are used for common software related information such as print jobs information. This allows you to see the global printing statistics and your users can see they own statistics if it is enabled by the administrator.

Prefixed tables and views: are user for personal (for each installation) settings. This allows you manage many Print Logger installation from the one point. Each table have prefix, unique for each print server in your network.

User accounts: the Print Logger creates SQL server account with read/write access to the Print Logger database.

Read/write account is used for Print Logger service modules and for Administrative console. Read only account is used for remote access modules like Remote Info Console and My Print Jobs Agent. For security reasons remote clients can't change information in database.

Print Logger supports standard SQL server security and able to read or write only to Print Logger database.

NOTE: When you're installing the first instance of the Print Logger software please use the SQL Configuration Wizard!
