Network Configurations

Remote SQL server configuration

remote-sql-only

This configuration is more suitable for corporate networks. Most large and middle size companies use one or more SQL servers for centralized data storage. Print Logger also allows you storing all its statistical and configuration data in one shared SQL database.

Local storage engine configuration

local-sql-only

Mixed local storage engine configuration

mixed-local-sql

This configuration is more suitable for middle size companies and some specific cases. Print Logger allows you storing all it's statistical and configuration data in one shared local embedded database on one print server(master server), configured for using local storage engine. All other servers should be configured for using remote SQL server. As remote SQL server master server should be used. Please note, each print server in this configuration can store up to 4 Gigabytes of data.
